ALTAR GUILD

The Altar Guild is an important part of our Worship Ministry.  Its members take reverent care of the Sanctuary and prepare for the sacrament of Holy Eucharist and other services.  They furnish and care for the linens and communion vessels.  Duties include cleaning and preparing the communion vessels, vesting the Altar, washing and ironing the linens, polishing the brass and silver, filling candles, preparing Altar flowers and arrangements, and various other tasks.  All members help with decorating the church and supporting the services for the Christmas, Holy Week and Easter celebrations and for visitations by the Bishop.
